Mark Scanlan has been elected new Captain of Lilley Cricket Club following the 2015 Annual General Meeting at The Lilley Arms this weekend.

The Captaincy role became vacant after previous incumbent Craig Paddington stepped down after just one year at the helm.  Scanlan previously served as Vice Captain during the 2014 campaign.

Gareth Tompkins returns for a second stint as Vice Captain of the club, having previously been Vice under James Ashby and Tim Perry.

Dave Carman has stepped down from role of Site Manager and his responsibilities will initially be shared among the club committee.  Dave was also unanimously elected as a Life Member of the club in recognition for several years outstanding service to Lilley CC as Chairman, Secretary and Site Manager.
